The Ninth Gate:

The Ninth Gate, starring Johnny Depp, is a dark mystery involving a book which is rumored to conjure the devil. Depp stars as Dean Corso, a rare book expert who is hired to track down and study copies of the book in order to unravel it's secrets. It isn't long before his studies become very dangerous, but Corso continues the investigation for his own survival - and a creepy curiousity that seems to attract people to the book.

The Fifth Element:

The fifth element is a well-rounded movie, combining comedy, science fiction, action and romance. This edgy flick has the look of a comic book, but its unique style can appeal to all types of movie fans. Bruce Willis stars as Korben Dallas, a down on his luck taxi driver, who is recruited to save the world from evil itself. Korben has to battle some slightly incompetent mangalore warriors, as well as creepy evil-doer Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg in order to deliver the fifth element (which, by the way, is absolutely perfect).

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou:

Both a tribute and a parody, The Life Aquatic is a bizarre comedy that chronicles the life of the fictional documentarian Steve Zissou (Bill Murray). Zissou and his misfit crew set out like Captain Ahab, seeking revenge against the elusive jaguar shark. Their adventure at sea includes pirates, matching outfits, and a metro sexual documentary-making nemesis. You will laugh and smile as Zissou heals his relationships and grows as a man and a filmmaker.

Equilibrium:

Equilibrium will leave you awe-struck and introspective. The premise is simple - feelings lead to war; so to guarantee a peaceful society you must rid people of emotion. In this strange community, a new type of fighter evolves - the Grammaton Cleric. From the start of the film, Christian Bale (Batman Begins) is outstanding in the action-packed lead role. All the elements exist to make you want to watch this movie over and over - a solid plot, outstanding action sequences, and fight scenes with the hero firing two guns at once. The battle for the future of our society begins - but not without incident!

Terminator 3, "Rise of the Machines":

He'll be back! The third movie in this classic trilogy gives all Terminator fans hope that the story isn't over yet. The movie starts with John Connor living a vagrant lifestyle in California - but it isn't long before two terminators enter the plot. This movie showcases both the current Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and introduces Kristanna Loken as a T-X (a futuristic fem-bot). Terminator 3 is action packed and includes spectacular battles between the Terminators, as well as some amazing chase scenes. True Terminator fans will love the ending - we won't give that away here - but I will say that it is surprising and you'll be holding your breath those last moments of the film!
